A Thought:
Isn’t it funny how everytime you walk through a crowded place [like the Grand Central Station in my town] you end up on collision course with people.

The problem don’t really start untill you establish eye contact with somebody you meet.
It’s as if when you have eye contact with a person [a fellow traveller in the crowd] you have established some kind of relationship and you start to be considerate to that person.
Is S/he going to go left or right? you wonder.

These brief encounters can develop into a wobbeling, duckish kind of walk. You go left and S/he goes right, you go right and S/he goes left. And to get out of this encounter-gone-bad situation you simply look the other way and break eye contact.
There…problem solved.
