After finally being free from the eye virus I’ve been struggling with for the past three months I can now go back to use my contacts again. Yay! =)
The virus is called Adeno-virus and apparently it is of a good nature. It may infect you as a common cold which you can pick up in the street or on the bus, for me it settled in my eyes.
According to Craig Meyers, a professor of immunology and microbiology at the Penn State College of Medicine in Pennsylvania, this virus which infects the majority of the population but has no known ill effects, kills multiple types of cancer cells yet has no effect on healthy cells. In their studdies at Penn State they have found that this could lead to a new anti-cancer agent. Is that cool or what?

Tyvärr måste jag säga att det är en djävligt seg läkningsprocess. Jag har varit utan linser i ett år nu och senast förra veckan när jag var och kollade ögonen igen så hade jag sår på hornhinnorna.
