We went to the opening of a new Champagne Bar at Hotel Anglais’s roof terrace. Sunny, windy, lots of 2nd grade celebrities and me and my colleagues.
At first it felt like we crashed someone’s private party which we soon forgot when the free Champagne was served. Met Alexander and e very nice friend of his, Camilla. We didn’t stay for very long, two glasses and then I was off to Fredhäll to do some packing. We are leaving for a weekend in Örebro.
Talked to my flight instructor, Tomas, and he promised to take both Joachim and me for a flight on Saturday. I will take some flight lessons to brush up on the flying technique and Joachim will get to go up in the air with Tomas for some advanced flying (as in looping, inverted flying, etc) since Tomas is what we call an AWA-soaring pilot. This is going to be so much fun.
Hectic weekend, besides flying we are going to a house warming party on Saturday night (which means turning down a bar-BQ with some old friends), spend some time with the parents and maybe go out on a boating trip on lake Hjälmaren with Jay and his family. Oh…and hopefully during the weekend we will get together with Emma who is home visiting from Holland.
