Went back to the eye doctor yesterday to get a second opinion on whether or not my eyes are clear of the virus I’ve been struggling with for the past four months. Apparently the virus itself is gone however it has left some considerable damage on my eyes. Dry spots all over, decrees of fluids in the eyes making them extremely dry and red when I use contacts.
I got medication, hydrocortisone drops to use twice a day during 8 days and then I can slowly start to adjust my eyes to contacts again. I sincerely hope that this will be over soon. It’s bloody tiring, but Hey! It could be a lot worse couldn’t it =)
Soon we’re off to lunch me and my colleagues, only a very few left since everybody is on vacation.
Only three more weeks to go. Yey!
