In the next season of ”Survivor” (the American type of Expedition Robinson) the contestants will be divided up into teams based on the colour of their skin. There are 5 teams, one Asian, one American (!) one black, one white and one Hispanic.
According to the producer Mark Burnett this decision to divide according to colour is not meant to cause racial issues between the teams…
Yeah right!
Watching the TV show Idol 2006 and the jury is just phenomenally nasty to the contestants. During the 2006 auditions in Stockholm the jury was not exactly unanimous and there was some nagging when half of the jury wanted to accept a guy to the final audition even though he was not really a good singer. Daniel Breitholtz (who disagreed with the other members of the jury) then said with his driest voice: “Well maybe then we should elect Robinson-Emma into Mensa while were at it”.
The jury is still out on that one…
